Can I set a time period for an Automation?

Learn how to set an effective period for automation tasks to control when they can be triggered.

Yes. You can set an Effective Period (Validity Scope - Effective Period) for the automation task, and the task will only be triggered and executed within this time period.

Example: For an automation task configured as "When the motion sensor detects a person passing by, the night light turns on automatically", you can set the Effective Period to Night to prevent the night light from being triggered accidentally during the day.
