Overview
Hello, you can log in to the management background of the router through a computer or mobile phone, and mark the names of the 2.4GHz band and the 5GHz band by changing the SSID, so that the 2.4GHz band and the 5GHz band can be displayed separately. Then select the corresponding network frequency band according to the frequency band supported by the device.
You can consult the seller for the frequency band supported by the device.
Configuration Steps
- Access your router's management interface through a computer or mobile device
- Locate the wireless settings section
- Find the SSID (network name) settings for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands
- Modify the SSID names to clearly distinguish between the two bands (e.g., "MyNetwork-2.4G" and "MyNetwork-5G")
- Save the changes and restart the router if necessary
Important Notes
- Make sure to use different names for the 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks to easily identify them
- After changing the SSID, you will need to reconnect your devices using the new network names
