Definition and usage of Room Groups
What is a Room Group?
A Room Group is a functional module that combines and manages multiple related rooms or devices.
You can divide rooms with similar functions or located in the same area into one Room Group based on actual needs and usage habits. For example, rooms in public activity areas such as the living room and dining room can be categorized into a "Public Area" Room Group; rooms related to rest such as bedrooms and dressing rooms can form a "Rest Area" Room Group.
By creating Room Groups, you can centrally control and manage all devices within the group, enabling a more convenient and efficient smart home operation experience. For instance, users can turn off all lights in the "Public Area" Room Group with a single command, or adjust the air conditioning temperature of all rooms in the "Rest Area" Room Group simultaneously. Additionally, Room Groups can be linked with smart scenes, triggering a series of preset operations for devices within the group when a scene is activated.
