How to link a phone number to a non-China region account (no option found in Account and Security)?

Learn how to link a phone number to a non-China region account by creating a Phone/SMS Notification-type Automation flow.

Currently, the "Account and Security" page for non-China region accounts does not support direct phone number linking. You can complete the binding by creating a Phone/SMS Notification-type Automation flow. Follow these steps:

  1. Open the App, go to the Smart page, and tap Create Scene;

  2. In the scene editor, select Add Task, then find and tap the Send notification option;

  3. Choose Message Notification or Phone Notification, then tap Settings on the right;

  4. In the pop-up page, select the corresponding country/region code, enter your phone number, retrieve and enter the verification code to finish binding.

After linking your phone number, self-modification or unbinding of the number is not supported at this time.
